• The training begins with a pool training session to learn basic scuba diving skills, including equipment use, breathing techniques, and underwater communication.

• Board the boat and embark on a scenic ride to the dive site, located approximately 1 km offshore.
• Receive final instructions and safety briefing from certified dive instructors before gearing up with all the safety equipment for the dive.
• Take the dive to a depth of 10 metres. 
• Explore the vibrant underwater world for approximately 35 minutes, accompanied by experienced dive instructors.
• Return to the surface and board the boat for the journey back to the dive center.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

• In this thrilling exploration journey you will be taken to 10 metres underwater, making the experience suitable for everyone.

• As long as the participant is a minimum of 10 years of age and is medically fit, they are eligible for scuba diving.

• The whole program can take up to two and a half to three hours, including briefing, a confined water training session, and the actual scuba dive in the open sea.

• No, but under the water, sight is magnified by one-third more, and we are only interested in seeing objects close to us. Also, we provide optical masks for those who usually use high-power glasses. If you are using powered contact lenses, you can wear them for diving. But there is a risk of losing them underwater.

• If your flight is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or operational or regulatory reasons, you will receive a full refund. You can also reschedule your activity to an alternative date of your choice (subject to availability).

• Welcome and Registration: When you arrive at the scuba dive centre, you are warmly welcomed by the team, which makes you feel comfortable. We understand the anxiety and excitement regarding the scuba diving experience, and hence, we allow a short period to help you relax. After a while, our Scuba diving Varkala team will be asked to complete the registration form and sign the medical fitness form and Standard Risk Acknowledgment & Disclaimer form.
• Introduction Session: The skilled trainers familiarise you with the equipment, the protocols, and the day’s schedule. Every nitty gritty about the experience, would be explained to you in detail.
• Activity 1: Theory Session: A comprehensive session is held as per the Varkala itinerary to cover the basics of scuba diving. You’re further taught about the essential equipment, hand signals, and safety guidelines crucial for your underwater experience.

You will board a boat to reach the exclusively chosen site for the open-water dive. The time has arrived when you can finally experience the thrill of your first open-water dive! You do not have to worry about safety measures as your instructor will closely guide you through the experience. You focus on exploring the breathtaking underwater world, witnessing the majestic marine life. Immerse yourself in the environment using the skills you learned during the pool session.
• Debrief and Certification: After the dive, gather for a debriefing session with the instructor. Share your exciting dive highlights, address any questions, and receive feedback on your performance. Receive a certificate of completion for your memorable adventure.
