Scuba Diving – Pondicherry

• The thrilling exploration of the underwater mysteries begins as you meet at the designated scuba diving site at Pondicherry by 6:30 a.m.
• Complete the registration before starting your adventure.
• Get ready for the activity, and change into your diving gear.
• Meet with the instructor and learn all the safety protocols, techniques and nitty-gritty of the activity.
• Board the boat and embark on a scenic ride to the dive site.
• Before proceeding to the next phase, we will offer you refreshments and a brief break.
• Receive final instructions and safety briefing from certified dive instructors before gearing up with all the safety equipment for the dive.
• Take the dive. 
• Explore the underwater and get anchored in the endless beauty of the sea.
• Return to the surface and board the boat for the journey back to the dive centre and get your complimentary pictures
• Conclude the scuba diving session and leave with some everlasting memories.

• In case of non-availability for the date, our team will contact you to work out the best possible dates. Kindly bear with us, as this industry does not work with real-time inventory views from vendor partners. 
• You will receive a 100% refund if you wish to cancel before receiving confirmation.

• Full Refund– If cancelled before 48 hours. 
• No Refund– If cancelled by the customer in less than 48 hours. 
• No refunds are applicable if the participants are deemed unfit by the instructor or refuse to go through with the experience at the site.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Once the cancellation window ends, rescheduling cannot be done.

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

• The boat trip to the dive spot is 45 min. The 1:1 diving with an instructor for each trainee lasts about 25 to 30 min. Overall, the time slot from reporting at the dive-stop to return after dives of all trainees is 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

• Yes, scuba diving in Pondicherry is safe and certified. All the diving activities in Pondicherry are done under the supervision of expert divers who are PADI  & SSI certified. The divers are highly professional and experienced with all sorts of diving challenges, which is why customers feel safe diving in Pondicherry.

• Swimming is not a requirement for scuba diving in Pondicherry. The beginner course offered to tourists includes diving lessons taught by instructors before diving into the sea. Even if you lack confidence as a swimmer, it is still possible for you to experience the joy of scuba diving.

• The minimum age limit is ten years.
• Read the medical form. If the answer to any of the questions is a “yes”, you’ll need a physician’s approval before diving with us.
• You can not fly for at least 12 hours after the completion of your dive.
• Do bring a towel, clothes, and swimwear for the activity.
• If a customer damages or loses an item due to negligence, its total cost will be charged.
• Proof of identity will be required at the time of reporting.

• The dive season in Pondicherry is from February to April and September to November.

When you arrive at the scuba dive centre, you are warmly welcomed by the team, which makes you feel comfortable. Kickstart your once-in-a-lifetime scuba diving experience by reaching the diving centre in Puducherry at 6:30 a.m. After a while, our Scuba diving team will ask you to complete the registration form and sign the medical fitness form and Standard Risk Acknowledgment & Disclaimer form.

The skilled trainers familiarise you with the equipment, the protocols, and the day’s schedule. Every nitty gritty about the experience would be explained to you in detail.

Once you complete your training session, we will give you a small break.  Get ready, change into your dive suits, and travel to the boat jetty in the vehicle provided by the operator. Embark on a mini-boat ride to glimpse the stunning water waves and scenic marine views before diving into the waters. Enjoy delicious regional snacks and fresh fruits and ride to the diving spot, which is 6 km away from the shore.

The time has arrived when you can finally experience the thrill of your first open-water dive! You do not have to worry about safety measures as your instructor will closely guide you through the experience. Hop on one-on-one scuba diving with the assistance of a professional PADI instructor. You focus on exploring the breathtaking underwater world, witnessing the majestic marine life. Immerse yourself in the environment for a super thrilling 30-minute dive.

After the dive, gather for a debriefing session with the instructor. Give yourself time to soak in the riveting beauty of the marine waters. Spend some time anchored in the enchanting sea and then return to the shore in a 45-minute ride. Share your exciting dive highlights, address any questions, and receive feedback on your performance. Reach the dive centre, collect your complimentary pictures and leave by 3:00 p.m.
