Gangadikal Trek

• Our journey begins at 9:00 PM with pick-up in Indiranagar. Stops at New Shanthi Sagar Hotel in Domlur (9:15 PM), Sapphire Toys on Richmond Road (9:30 PM), and Yesvantpur, Elite Restaurant (10:00 PM) complete our Bangalore assembly. We depart for the Western Ghats.

• At 6:30 AM, we reach the base camp, store extra luggage, and have breakfast at 8:00 AM. Permissions secured, we commence our trek to Gangadikal Peak at 10:00 AM. We reach the summit by noon, enjoy a packed lunch, and descend at 1:00 PM. Returning to the base camp by 5:00 PM, an optional campfire and dinner await.

• The day starts at 8:00 AM with breakfast, followed by our return journey to Bangalore. Our route includes exploring Soormane Falls or the Hanging Bridge.

• We will confirm your booking within 24 hours.
• In case of non-availability for the date, our team will contact you to work out the best possible dates. Kindly bear with us as this industry does not work with real-time inventory views from vendor partners. 

• If you wish to cancel before receiving a confirmation, you will receive a 100% refund. 

• Full Refund- If cancelled before 7 days of the scheduled date. 
• No Refund- If cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled date.
• If participants are unable or refuse to go through with the experience at the site, no refund will be applicable.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Once the cancellation window ends, rescheduling cannot be done.

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

• The ideal time to visit Gangadikal  Trek is from June to October when the weather is pleasant and favourable for trekking.

• The starting point for this trek is from  Indiranagar, Banglore.

• Yes, beginners can attempt the Gangadikal Trek, but it is necessary to be physically fit and mentally prepared for the challenges of the trek. It is advisable to start with less difficult routes and gradually progress.

• Some precautions to take while trekking Gangadikal Trek include carrying sufficient water, wearing proper trekking shoes, carrying necessary medications, and being aware of weather conditions and trail markings.

• If you become ill and cannot finish the trek, you will be taken to the base camp depending on the situation. Please note that reimbursement or rescheduling for the same is not possible. The traveller will be responsible for any additional costs incurred during this transfer.

• Full Refund- If cancelled before 7 days before scheduled departure.
• No Refund- If cancelled by the customer less than 7 days before scheduled departure. 

If participants are unable or refuse to go through with the experience at the site, no refund will be applicable. 

• The payment policy is 100% at the time of booking.

• In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses will be borne by the traveller.

As the city’s lights twinkle and the clock strikes 9:00 PM, our journey will kick off with the first pick-up at Indiranagar, at 9:15 PM stop at the New Shanthi Sagar Hotel in Domlur. By 9:30 PM, near the Sacred Heart Church, adjacent to Sapphire Toys. The thrill of adventure will be palpable as our band of explorers gathers, ready to embark on the Gangadikal Trek.

We will make our last pick-up at Yesvantpur, Elite Restaurant. With all our fellow trekkers aboard, our Bangalore rendezvous will be complete, and we will venture forth into the night, leaving the city behind and heading towards the Western Ghats.

The following day, the sun will kiss the horizon as we arrive at the base camp by 6:30 AM. It will be time to shed our extra physical and mental luggage and embrace the wilderness that awaits.

With the first light of day, we will gather for a hearty breakfast, fortifying ourselves for the journey ahead. Permissions secured; our spirits will soar as we embark on the ascent to Gangadikal Peak. The trail will unfold before us, and each step will be a testament to our determination and the raw beauty of nature.

At the stroke of noon, we will reach the pinnacle, Gangadikal Peak itself. Perched at the summit, we will enjoy a well-deserved packed lunch, surrounded by the majestic Western Ghats. We will begin our descent, retracing our steps with a sense of accomplishment.

By 5:00 PM, we will return to the base camp, where an optional campfire will await, flickering in the gathering dusk. The day will culminate with a hearty dinner, shared stories, and the promise of another day filled with adventure.

In the morning we will gather for breakfast, preparing for the journey back. Our path will lead us to Kudremukh National Park, where the lush beauty of the Western Ghats will continue to captivate.

At 10:00 AM, we will explore the enchanting Soormane Falls or venture across the Hanging Bridge, with lunch along the way, self-sponsored and filled with local flavours.

As the stars begin to twinkle in the night sky, at 8:00 PM, we will arrive back in Bangalore, our hearts and minds enriched by the Gangadikal Trek, a journey filled with challenges, camaraderie, and the untamed beauty of the Western Ghats, which we will have experienced firsthand.
