• The total duration of this tour is 7 nights and 8 days.

• The best time to visit Sikkim is either between March and May or October and mid-December. If you want to witness the blooming natural beauty in Gangtok best season to visit would be in spring, from March to May.

• In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled, then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveler.

• AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by the quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitude. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few.
• In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, Backup oxygen cylinder is provided as an immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once the doctor certifies that you are fit to travel, you can resume the trip or you will be advised to travel back home.

• Any changes in your schedule pertaining to airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. However, a refund for any missed inclusions will not be provided and any extra cost incurred to rearrange the itinerary will be borne by the traveler.

Also known as the Changu Lake, it remains frozen during the winter and is one of the most popular tourist destinations. 

Then, we proceed to explore the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple. Located between Nathula Pass and Jelep La Pass, this temple was built in memory of a brave Punjab Regiment sepoy. The legend says Harbhajan Singh was a young 22-year-old soldier who led his life for the country in 1968, at that very location where the “temple” was built. Even today, people affirm witnessing him when in trouble in the mountains, and believe he is still protecting the borders.

Bask in the beauty of these places as we head to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Seven Sisters Waterfalls

The 3rd day of your Sikkim Gangtok Pelling tour begins with a hearty breakfast, after which we drive towards Lachen in North Sikkim. After driving for around 1 hour from Sikkim, we stop at the cascade of beautiful waters of the Seven Sisters Waterfalls.

On a nearly 6-7 hour journey to this beautiful village in the north of Sikkim, soak in the beauty of the scenic views of quaint villages, waterfalls, and bridges. Discover Lachen’s local beauty (“big pass”).

Have dinner in the evening, and sleep tight for the next adventure-filled day.

Gurudongmar Lake – Chopta Valley

This day will commence with an early morning departure for the famous Gurudongmar Lake. Situated at a height of 17,800 feet, Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest natural lakes in the world. It also remains completely frozen from mid-November to early May.

This place is one of the most photogenic regions in the itinerary. Keep your cameras ready because you might want to capture them at every turn.

The day ends with a drive towards Lachen’s sister village, Lachung, where you will spend the night.

Yumthang Valley – Zero Point

Fill up your stomach and prepare for a drive towards Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers. This place hosts some of the most exquisite flora in Sikkim. Situated at a height of 11800 feet, the valley is home to the exquisite “Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary.”

Spend the day immersing yourself in the breathtaking and magical surroundings. Dig into the local cuisines while finding serenity among the breathtaking landscapes.

Then, we will drive you back to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Tathagata Tsal Buddha Park – Siddhesvara Dham

Now that you have explored the spectacular North Sikkim, it’s time to proceed towards Ravangla in South Sikkim. 

Visit the Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as the Tathagata Tsal. It houses the 0 m high statue of the sitting Buddha as its centrepiece.

Enlighten your soul at Siddhesvara Dham in the small town of Namchi, which has a tall statue of Lord Shiva. Gardens and small idols of Hindu gods surround the figurine.

The peaceful day ends as we head towards Pelling, a beautiful town in West Sikkim.

Statue of Cherenzi – Rabdentse Ruins – Pemayangtse Monastery – Bird Park – Sky Walk

Start your day with a filling Breakfast, and set your sails for sails for Pelling Sightseeing. Visit the Statue of Cherenzi- an engineering marvel and the world’s tallest statue. 

Go for a thrilling walk in the sky, defying gravity, at the Sky Walk. It will surely give you an adrenaline pump at 7,200 feet.

In the evening, visit Rabdentse Ruins- a serene Buddhist pilgrimage spot and learn all about its history.

Don’t miss the Pemayangtse Monastery- a beautiful hill-top sacred complex and bird park where you can spot some exotic birds.

Finish off your day with an overnight stay at Pelling.
