  • Arrive at Rumsu base camp and complete the registration process.
  • After lunch, embark on a leisurely walk to Naya Tapru enroute Chandrakhani to acclimatise to the terrain.
  • Return to the campsite for a briefing and orientation session.
  • Dinner will be served at the campsite, followed by a peaceful night’s rest to prepare for the upcoming adventure.

  • Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing for Solang Valley via a scenic jeep ride.
  • Start the trek from Dhundi, the last motorable location in Beas Valley, and trek to Lohali.
  • Along the way, soak in the beauty of the Beas River and the surrounding landscapes.
  • The trek from Solang to Lohali will take approximately four to five hours.
  • Set up camp at Lohali for an overnight stay, surrounded by the serene ambiance of the mountains.

  • Begin the day with a challenging trek from Lohali to Lady Leg, featuring a steep climb across the ridge.
  • Enjoy breathtaking views of Friendship Peak along the way.
  • The trek will take around three hours, culminating in an overnight stay at Lady Leg campsite.

 

  • Embark on a short trek to Beas Kund in the morning, followed by a return to Lady Leg campsite.
  • After breakfast, undertake a walk to the Advance Base Camp for acclimatisation.
  • Learn about equipment usage and receive briefing on snow craft techniques.
  • Return to Lady Leg campsite for overnight stay and preparation for the next day’s adventure.

 

  • Commence the day with a trek to the majestic Advance Base Camp (ABC) while mastering the art of cramponing.
  • Ascend through challenging terrain under the guidance of skilled instructors.
  • Learn essential cramponing techniques for safe traversal of snowy landscapes.
  • Settle in at ABC for overnight camping, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the mountain environment.

 

  • Embark on the summit walk to Friendship Peak, beginning in the early hours of the morning.
  • The ascent to the summit takes approximately six to seven hours, offering unparalleled views of the surrounding peaks.
  • Descend from the summit and return to Lady Leg campsite, taking around four to five hours.
  • Enjoy a relaxing evening at Lady Leg campsite, reflecting on the day’s achievements and preparing for the final day of the trek.

  • Begin the descent from Lady Leg to Solang Valley, marking the final leg of the expedition.
  • Upon reaching Solang, board a vehicle for the journey back to Rumsu base camp.
  • Departure from Rumsu base camp by 5 PM, concluding the memorable trekking expedition.

Once the cancellation window ends, rescheduling cannot be done.

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

  • The best time to go for Friendship peak trek is during the months of May – June and Sept – October. At this time, the weather is really pleasant and stable. The skies are clear and there is no sudden rainfall or snowfall which makes it easy for the trekkers.

 

  • The starting point for this trek is Rumsu village. You can reach Rumsu village by air or road. To reach Rumsu village  by air, you can take a flight to Bhuntar airport which is nearest from  Rumsu village.  To reach by road, you can take a cab or a bus from Delhi/ Chandigarh to Patlikuhal. 

  • The highest altitude for this trek is 17352 ft at the summit.

  • The difficulty level of the trek is moderate to difficult and requires physical strength.
  • The participants must have basic or advanced mountaineering or trekking courses. If you have previous experience of trekking at an altitude of 18000 ft then you can book this trek.

  • This is a Moderate to Difficult trek, Morning jogs and running 30 days before the trip will be helpful during the trek.
  • To gain stamina, you can try Cardio and running along with stretching every day to strengthen your muscles and work on your flexibility. Since it is a physically endearing trek, strength training will also help along with HIIT workouts.

  • The total trek distance is 24 kms. Each day, you will be covering trekking for 4-5 hours approximately.

 

  • In case you are sick and not able to complete the trek, you will be sent down to the base camp depending on the circumstances. Kindly note that a refund or reschedule for the same is not applicable. Any extra expenses incurred during this transfer will be borne by the traveler.

  • Full Refund- If cancelled before 7 days before scheduled departure. 
  • No Refund- If cancelled by customer in  less than 7 days before scheduled departure.

If participants are unable to or refuse to go through with the experience at site, no refund will be applicable.

  • Refunds are subjected to the cancellation policies . All refunds will be processed in 10 business days to the source account. 

  • In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses will be borne by the traveler.

At the Rumsu base, every participant is required to complete the registration process. After lunch, take a walk to Naya Tapru enroute Chandrakhani to acclimatise to the terrain, which will be followed by a briefing and orientation. Return to the campsite later for dinner, and spend a peaceful night at the Rumsu base camp before beginning your adventurous expedition the following morning.

After a delicious breakfast, drive to Solang Valley, the starting point of the trek. We will start trekking from Dhundi, the last motorable location in Beas Valley. Enjoy the charming Beas River, and the constant chatter of the stream alongside you at 3150 metres above sea level from Dhundi to Lohali. The hike is a fascinating mix of bustling townships, small stores, scenic beauty, and quiet, lonely expanses. The sight of inhabitants going about their daily lives and the odd stone-built homes give us a peek into mountain life. From Solang to Lohali, this lovely journey lasts about four to five hours. Enjoy the taste of adventure with camping at Lohali for the night.

The trek to Lady Leg from Lohali involves a steep climb across the ridge and takes around 3 hours. Lady Leg presents a grand view of Friendship Peak—one that you will not forget anytime soon! Overnight stay will be at Lady Leg after a delicious dinner.

Let’s start the day with a short trek to Beas Kund. The route to the lake is easy and takes around 3 hours to and fro. We will get back to Lady Leg later. After a delicious breakfast, we will walk to the Advance Base Camp for acclimatisation wearing Koflach shoes. It takes around two hours to walk from Lady Leg to Advance Base Camp. We will descend to Lady Leg later for an overnight stay.

As the sun’s first light graces the mountain tops, we commence the exhilarating Day 5 of our expedition—a trek towards the resplendent Advance Base Camp (ABC) while acquainting ourselves with the art of cramponing. This challenging yet rewarding endeavour offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the awesomeness of nature and the remarkable power of human perseverance. As we ascend, our skilled instructors will impart the art of cramponing, ensuring absolute safety and mastery over the snowy terrain. Enjoy camping overnight at ABC under a starry sky and fall asleep to a light mountain breeze and chill.

As the sun rises on Friendship Peak, we will embark on an unparalleled and extraordinary journey. The summit walk starts at 3 AM, and it takes around 6 to 7 hours to reach the Friendship Peak summit. The descent starts at 10 AM, and we will reach Lady Leg in 4 to 5 hours. Upon reaching Lady Leg, enjoy an evening of fun, frolic, and relaxation and prepare for Day 7 of the trek.

The descent will begin from Lady Leg to Solang Valley today, the final day of the expedition. Once everyone arrives in Solang, we will drive away in a vehicle to the Rumsu base camp. Departure will be by 5 PM.
