If participants are unable or choose not to continue with the experience at the site, no refunds will be provided. To avoid any disruption to other travellers, the expedition will go ahead as scheduled, and participants will have to make their arrangements if they decide to prolong their stay.

Once the cancellation window ends, rescheduling cannot be done.

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

• The transportation during this trip will be provided based on the group size. The available options are Tempo Traveller /Toyota Innova /Mahindra Xylo / Scorpio. Since the route is a rough terrain, only the vehicles with high ground clearance are used here.

• There are no age or weight restrictions for this trip, but guests with medical conditions should consult with their doctor before visiting.

• The accommodations will be provided in standard Hotels / Guest houses and camps on a Single / Twin/ Triple sharing basis of your selection.

• Dinner from Day 1 to Day 5. Breakfast from Day 2 to Day 6 is included in the package.

• The local permits required will be arranged by our vendor partner however a valid ID proof, address proof and booking confirmation email are required.

• In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveller.

• Each day you will be taking a drive for 5-6 hours and enjoying the surreal beauty of Meghalaya in all its glory.  

• Please note that if there are any changes to your airline or transportation schedule, your entire itinerary may need to be adjusted. Your operator will offer the best alternative options in such cases. However, it’s important to note that missed inclusions will not be refunded. Any extra costs associated with rearranging the itinerary will be the responsibility of the traveller.

Upon arriving in Guwahati, our tour operator’s representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to Shillong. On your way to Shillong, spend some time at the serene Umiam Lake. After reaching Shillong, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Spend the evening exploring the nearby areas and local markets. Once you get back to the hotel for the night, enjoy a lip smacking dinner and get ready for an exciting Day 2. 

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and begin your journey to the next stop of this trip, Cherrapunji. Located at an altitude of 4,400 ft, it is the world’s second-wettest place. On your way, we will stop at Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak. This will be a drive to remember, as you will encounter various waterfalls on the way to Cherrapunji. In the evening, a visit to the mystic Mawsmai Caves is recommended. After this, you can head to the hotel for dinner and rest for the night.

After a delightful breakfast, put on your trekking shoes and get ready for a hike to Double Decker Living Root Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If time permits, you might be able to visit Rainbow Falls. Head back to Cherrapunji by evening, have a delicious meal at the hotel, and retire for the night.

On Day 4, put on your explorer hat! After an early breakfast, step out for a sightseeing tour of Cherrapunji. Our pitstops for the day are two cave sites, the Nohkalikai Waterfall and the majestic Seven Sisters Falls. As the day progresses, we head to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. Our last stop is Dawki, a secluded place with a riverbed and crystal-clear water that welcomes you into Mother Nature’s lap. Check-in at a riverside camp, enjoy a bonfire and dinner, and sleep under the starry sky.

Wake up to a wonderful morning and have a hot-piping breakfast. Thrilling adventure activities like cliff jumping, kayaking, and snorkelling await you in Dawki. After this, it is time to bid goodbye to Dawki and head back to Shillong. You can spend the rest of your evening taking leisurely walks around the city and learn about the region’s culture and traditions. Do not forget to try some local delicacies at the many cafés and eateries in the area. Shopping for souvenirs is a great idea, too! Head back to your hotel and rest as you get ready for the last leg of the tour.

After a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your return journey to Guwahati taking home the wonderful memories from your enchanting trip to Meghalaya.
