Dayara Bugyal trek is one of most beautiful treks of Uttrakhand. This trek is famous for Dayara meadows, the lush green meadows nestled within the arms of various mountain peaks. This trek introduces you to the surreal life of shepherds and villagers of the mountains. Here lies a small village called Natin which is straight out of a postcard. The sheep, the wooden huts, and the children playing in the grass fields are absolutely worth a visit. The easy trail allows you to enjoy various treasures of nature without exhausting yourself entirely. This summit offers you a picturesque view of Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, Shrikhand Mahadev, Srikanth peak, and Gangotri peaks.

- The best time to go for Dayara Bugyal trek is from October to January. During this time, the landscape is breathtaking with snow-capped peaks at distance and lush green meadows of Dayara.
- The starting point for this trek is Dehradun Railway station. From here you will be taken to Natin village in a shared vehicle which is the base camp of this trek.
- The highest altitude for this trek 12100 ft.

- The difficulty level for this trek is moderate to difficult. The highest altitude is 15000 ft. The total distance covered is 26 kms. If you are someone who does not work out regularly, it is advisable to start working out at least a month before the trek to avoid any discomfort. If you are able to Jog 5 kms in 30 minutes, your stamina is good to go. You can prepare yourself by running and doing cardio exercises.
- This is a moderate to difficult trek and will require physical strength , Recommendation to get physically fit is to start working out atleast a month before the trek.
- To gain stamina, you can try Cardio and running along with stretching every day to strengthen your muscles and work on your flexibility.
- If you are able to Jog 5 kms in 30 minutes, your stamina is good to go.
- The total trek distance is 28 kms. Each day, you will be covering trekking for 4-5 hours approximately.
- In case you are sick and not able to complete the trek, you will be sent down to the base camp depending on the circumstances. Kindly note that a refund or reschedule for the same is not applicable. Any extra expenses incurred during this transfer will be borne by the traveler.

This 5N/6D Trip begins early in the morning. Reach the Dehradun Railway station parking lot at 06:05 am and meet with your fellow travellers and our representatives. After the initial introduction, hop onto the car and embark on a 7-hour journey to the quaint Natin village.

Make sure to keep your cameras ready, as you won’t want to miss the breathtaking views of Gangotri’s Srikanth Peak. The first night, you will spend at a guest house or experience the local culture by staying in a homestay.
Start your day early with a hot-piping breakfast after getting ready to trek to Gui. The trail is quite an easy walk through the forest laden with brisk oak trees tainted with silver and gold trunks. However, make sure to fill your water bottles before leaving for Gui because you might not find clean drinking water before reaching the destination.
After reaching the campsite, look around as you soak in the breathtaking beauty of the landscape of small village huts surrounded by alpine trees. Enjoy a beautiful view of Srikanth Peak and Gangotri range from the campsite, which is ideal for some lifetime photographs. As the day comes to an end, have your dinner and doze off under the starry sky.
Wake up to a refreshing morning and have a healthy, wholesome breakfast. Once set, embark on a short trek to Chilapada. You will reach the campsite by afternoon. Sit back and rejuvenate by the freshwater stream by the tents. After lunch, spend the remaining day acclimatising properly as you have a long day tomorrow.
