If participants are unable to or refuse to go through with the experience at the site, no refund will be applicable. To avoid inconvenience to other travellers, the expedition will continue in such cases and participants will have to make their arrangements if they continue their stay.

Once the cancellation window ends, rescheduling cannot be done.

Each booking allows for a maximum of two rescheduling opportunities. After which, no further changes can be made to the booking.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

• The transportation during this trip will be provided based on the group size and the vehicle selected as per your choice. The available options are NAC Innova/Xylo/Ertiga or Tempo Traveller Since Ladakh is a rough terrain, only the vehicles with high ground clearance are used here.

• There is no age and weight limit for Ladakh as long as there is no medical history or condition involved. Please consult your doctor before visiting the trip.

The accommodations will be provided

• 02 nights stay in Heritage room at Nimmu House, Nimmu.
• 01-night stay in a Premium tent / Campervan at Desert Himalaya Resort, Nubra.
• 01 night stay in Riverview suite at Riverland Luxury Farmstay, Leh.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the trip from Lunch on Day 01 to Breakfast on Day 05.

Experiential meals outside hotels/resorts as mentioned in the itinerary viz.

• Lunch at Alchi Kitchen in Alchi on day 02.
• Lunch at a local village house in Sakti village on day 04.

• The local permits required will be arranged by our vendor partner however a valid ID proof, address proof and booking confirmation email are required.

• The best and fastest way to reach Leh is by getting a direct flight from Delhi to Leh. The duration for the same is 1 hr and 15 mins.

• In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveller. 

• This trip is the best way to explore Leh Ladakh with family and friends without the hardships of riding on your own. You can easily enjoy this trip with ample time for sightseeing. Thus it is a very easy trip to enjoy.

• Each day you will be taking a drive for 4-5 hours and enjoying the surreal beauty of Leh in all its glory. 

• You can enjoy river rafting, camping, double humped camel ride and ATV rides during this trip at your expense. It is not a part of the package but can be customized as per the traveller’s request. 

• If you are visiting during the summer season, the initial months will let you see the snow on the trails that is melting from the mountains. During monsoon season, there might be sudden showers but not snow. 

• AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by the quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitude. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few.  
• In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, Backup oxygen cylinder is provided as an immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once the doctor certifies that you are fit to travel, you can resume the trip or you will be advised to travel back home.

• Any changes in your schedule pertaining to airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. However, a refund for any missed inclusions will not be provided and any extra cost incurred to rearrange the itinerary will be borne by the traveller.

The flight reaches the stark, humbling beauty of Ladakh’s cold desert mountains. Upon arrival at the airport, your knowledgeable guide, well-versed in the region’s landscape, will greet you. A scenic one-hour drive along the Indus River leads to our hotel in Lower Ladakh. Due to the significant altitude change from 300 metres to 3,000 metres, acclimatisation is crucial. This afternoon, take it easy to allow your body to adjust. Read a book, nap, or simply relax and soak in the surrounding beauty. Enjoy a delightful lunch amidst an apricot and apple orchard. In the evening, immerse yourself in local culture with a momo-making class. Later, savour a delicious dinner under the starlit sky at the hotel. Wake up for a Pranayama class in the in-house yogashala. Meet with your Buddhist scholar guide for breakfast to understand the simplistic teachings within the complex philosophies of Tibetan Buddhism, before we make our way to one of the most important temple complexes in Ladakh. Savour a local Ladakhi lunch at Alchi Kitchen by Chef Nilza, before we make our way back to Nimmu. Afternoon at leisure, before we head out for an evening walk through the village to understand the Ladakhi way of life. Dinner will be at the hotel. Stay at Nimmu house (Heritage rooms) in Nimmu.

After an early breakfast at the resort, say goodbye to your hosts at Nimmu house and start the mesmerising journey to Nubra Valley—a journey of 180 km tracing an important part of the ancient Silk Route. Arrive at Desert Himalaya Resort in Nubra Valley where a gastronomic feast awaits you. Enjoy your farm-to-table lunch prepared by the chefs at the resort. After relaxing for a while at the resort, drive to Hunder Sand Dunes situated around 7 km from the resort. It is unbelievable, when one thinks of it, that a desert could exist at such a high altitude! Equally surprising is the sight of the double-humped Bactrian camels, whose two humps enable them to develop resistance to cold, drought, and high altitudes. Taking a ride on these double-humped camels that gently make their way among the white dunes, with poplar trees dotting the landscape and the pleasing murmur of the River Shyok flowing nearby makes for a memorable experience. As the evening approaches and the mountains are covered with the crimson hues of the sun, you wonder how such a place could exist in a chaotic world such as ours. Get up early in the morning to visit Diskit Monastery and witness the morning prayer ceremony delivered by the resident monks. Belonging to the Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect, parts of the monastery, which houses 120 resident monks, are about 760 years old. Return to the resort for a hearty breakfast. Post breakfast, start the journey back to Leh via Warila Pass (5312 metres), the most scenic route with the best views of Shyok River. Descend the road from the pass and reach Chemrey Monastery. An important centre of Buddhist learning, the monastery attracts a large number of tourists because of its picturesque location. The monastery was founded in 1664 AD, and currently, 20 monks reside here. Experience a farm-to-table lunch prepared by a local family in Sakti village with locally sourced organic produce. Continue driving to reach Leh Market and buy souvenirs for your loved ones back home. Enjoy a mesmerising sunset at a riverside farmhouse. After a farewell dinner with a bonfire along the banks of the mighty Indus, rest for the night at Riverland Luxury Farmstay in Choglamsar.
