  • Enjoy trekking to the top of Lamadugh, the beautiful high-altitude meadow near Manali.

  • Arrive at your starting point of the Lama Dugh Trek. From here, your much-awaited trek begins. Trek uphill and enjoy the mesmerising views of the mountains of Indrasan, Deo Tibba, and the peaks of Bara Shigri Glacier. 
  • On the last climb, you will cross a ridge, which takes you to the high-altitude meadow of Lama Dugh. Soak in the splendour of what nature has to offer. 
  • Stay overnight in tents.

  • Enjoy an early breakfast at Lama Dugh. After breakfast, start the trek planned for Day 2. After you have walked for almost a kilometre, the trek will get steeper. And a few hours later, you will arrive at the Rani Sui Lake.
  • Enjoy the amazing views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar Ranges. Spend some time here before you start descending toward Duddu Thatch through the gorgeous meadows and enchanting forests of pine, maple, horse chestnut, and walnut.
  • Overnight stay will be Duddu Thatch. 

  • Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and start the descent today through forests of pine to finally arrive at Manali.

Any price differences resulting from rescheduling, such as changes in seasonal rates or availability, will be applicable and will be communicated to the customer during the rescheduling process.

In the event that a customer requests a rescheduling but fails to attend the newly scheduled appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment, and our standard cancellation policy will apply

  • The best time to go for the Rani Sui Trek is from May to September.

 

  • The starting point for this trek is Manali. You can reach Manali by air, road or rail. To reach Manali by air, you can take a flight to Bhuntar airport which is nearest from Manali. To reach by road, you can take a cab or a bus from Delhi/ Chandigarh to Manali. 

    

  • The maximum altitude of this trek is 11,154 ft. 

 

  • Please read the “What to carry” section on the product details page.  

  • The difficulty level for this trek is moderate. The highest altitude is 11,154 ft. The total distance is 22 kms. If you are someone who does not work out regularly, it is advisable to start working out at least a month before the trek to avoid any discomfort.
  • If you are able to Jog 5 kms in 30 minutes, your stamina is good to go. You can prepare yourself by running and doing cardio exercises.

 

  • All veg. meals from lunch on day 1st to Breakfast on day 5th.

  • This is a moderate to difficult trek and will require physical strength. It is recommended to start working out atleast a month before the trek.  
  • To gain stamina, you can try Cardio and running along with stretching every day to strengthen your muscles and work on your flexibility. 
  • If you are able to Jog 5 kms in 30 minutes, your stamina is good to go 

  • The total trek distance is 22 Kms and the time it will take you to complete the same is 6-7 hours a day.

 

  • In case you are sick and not able to complete the trek, you will be sent down to the base camp depending on the circumstances. Kindly note that a refund or reschedule for the same is not applicable. Any extra expenses incurred during this transfer will be borne by the traveler.

  • Full Refund- If cancelled before 7 days before scheduled departure. 
  • No Refund- If cancelled by customer less than 7 days before scheduled departure. 
  • If participants are unable to or refuse to go through with the experience at site, no refund will be applicable.

 

  • The payment policy is 100% at the time of booking. 

  • Refunds are subjected to the cancellation policies. All refunds will be processed in 10 business days to the source account. 

  • In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses will be borne by the traveler.

Our adventure begins in Manali, a charming hill station nestled amidst the Himalayas. After making the required arrangements, we set off on the initial leg of the trek, gradually ascending through captivating landscapes. Towering pines and the crisp mountain air invigorate our senses as we steal glimpses of the majestic peaks of Indrasan, Deo Tibba, and the glacier-clad Bara Shigri. The final climb takes us across a scenic ridge, leading us to Lama Dugh, a high-altitude meadow with panoramic vistas. Here, we set up camp for the night, soaking in the serenity of the Himalayas under a canopy of stars.

Starting Day 2 with a hearty breakfast at Lama Dugh, we prepare for the next adventure. The initial section is a leisurely walk, but soon the trail transforms, demanding a steeper ascent. After a few hours of trekking, we reach the pristine Rani Sui Lake, a beauty reflecting the snow-capped peaks of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. We savour the tranquillity of this alpine retreat before commencing the descent towards Duddu Thatch. Lush meadows unfold before us, carpeted with vibrant wildflowers, and enchanting forests of pine, maple, horse chestnut, and walnut trees provide a symphony of colour and fragrance. Duddu Thatch, our overnight destination, awaits us, nestled amidst this captivating landscape.

A delectable breakfast energises us for the final leg of the trek. Today’s descent offers a refreshing walk through pine forests, culminating in our return to Manali. As we reach the bustling town, we carry with us the wonderful memories of mighty mountains, pristine lakes, and the magic of the Lama Dugh meadows. This trek is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a profound connection with the magnificent Himalayan wilderness.
