Your adventure begins from the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. From here, you will start your overnight venture towards Pondicherry. The journey will start around 09:30 at night and take around 8 or 9 hours.

Enjoy the ride while listening to live music and enjoying the South Indian roadways. The scenic roads set the mood for the upcoming adventure.

Arrive at Pondicherry at the crack of dawn. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise at the Rock Beach. The views that you get to witness can never be described in words. It kickstarts your exploration of India’s Little France. 

From the Rock Beach, head straight towards Auroville, the city of dawn. The city is based on the principle of unifying everyone across all borders. Start your city exploration with the first stop at the Matrimandir, a spiritual centre. This place is known for the architectural wonder of the place and the serenity of the environment. However, we cannot let you enter the place and Golden Globe due to permission constraints.

In the afternoon, have your lunch and head straight towards the French Colony, the White Town. It is one of the most picturesque locations of Pondicherry, famous for its French colonial legacy. This part of the city is like a trip down in history, with every nook and corner whispering the stories of French colonies. The place is also ideal for shoppers since you get an extended range of clothes, chocolates, and souvenirs.

Return to Rock Beach in the evening, where the charm of evening Pondicherry awaits when the city lights up to its full glory. Here, you can try out some famous Pondicherry street food for dinner, which typically includes macaroni and chocolate pastries. Don’t forget to try the absolute delight of cheesecakes, which will definitely melt your heart with its exquisite flavours.

Wake up early as this is the last day of the trip. Have a hearty breakfast, and visit the Notre Dame des Anges Church. This church has multiple significance and is one of the major tourist spots in Pondicherry. Not only is the church the fourth oldest in Pondicherry but it is also known to offer mass in three languages – English, Spanish, and French. This is the only church in Pondicherry that does that.

As the sun moves westward, relax at Paradise Beach in the afternoon and enjoy the picturesque views of the golden sands and crystal clear waters. Enjoy some local street food around the beach and complete your lunch at a local eatery.

As the evening dawns, make sure to visit Eden Beach. The beach has blue flag certification, making it one of the cleanest and the most sustainable beaches on the land. The beach is also safe and easily accessible from any part of Pondicherry.

After spending quality time at the beach, it’s time to head home. The Pondicherry itinerary finally comes to an end when you return to Bangalore. We hope to have your company again on another beautiful trip in some other part of the country!
